It is used for determining bitumen percentage in Bituminous Paving Mixtures. It is a removable, precision machined. Aluminium rotor bowl mounted on a vertical shaft. It has two speeds i.e. slow and fast. The instrument is provided with brake mechanism and is hand operated.
